the location was excellent, right in the historical city centre and close to both train stations. the staff was friendly and helpful, allowing me to leave my luggage there before my departure. I also appreciated the availability of international sockets for charging my devices. Cons: Nothing to complain about, everything was excellent. 👍.

The location was perfect, just a short 2-minute walk to the best views of the Sassi di Matera, old city, and museums. Host Andrea was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more enjoyable. If I ever return to this beautiful city, this will definitely be my go-to place to stay.

The property is so close to popular attractions that I practically tripped and fell into them. It's like they built the historical sites right in the hostel's backyard. How convenient!

I had a great time at Ostello Dei Sassi - Matera Hostels. The location was perfect, right in the heart of old Matera. The large lounge area was lovely, and the dorms were a decent size. The kitchen, although in need of a clean, was still usable. I also appreciated the presence of alcohol gel throughout the hostel.

There were a few minor drawbacks. The bathroom became wet after people took showers, and the reception didn't open until check-in time, which meant waiting at the door with my bag.

Couldn't recommend more.
